We are in Myknonos today. I woke up after midnight because I could hear a lot of voices and people running. Our balcony door was open so I went to see what was up and found we were already in port. It looked like there were some of the ship staff out and about and heading to town. They were being called back to the ship and then finally were on their way. I crawled back into bed but woke up about 3am hearing voices again so this time I shut the door. We didn't have to be anywhere first thing in the morning so we could sleep in.

We didn't plan any tours for Mykonos and that was very refreshing to just wander through the streets on our own. We found as you got close to the shore it was warmer but if you were wandering the winding streets there was a really nice breeze there. It was quite comfortable and we really enjoyed that. We went off the ship about 8:45am and then came back about 12:30pm. It was starting to get a bit crowded in town by the time we started heading back.

We took the shuttle from the ship which costs 7 euro round trip per person. We were very lucky and got right on the shuttle and off we went within a few minutes on the way back we boarded the shuttle and it was within a couple of minutes.

Once back on board I went to check the laundry to see if it was busy and Jerry came straight to the cabin to get out our laundry. There were washers not in use so I rushed back down to our cabin to get everything sorted out and rushed back up to get started. We did the right thing. I wanted to make sure we got back on board in plenty of time to beat the crowd hitting the laundry facilities. We have one on our deck but it's way at the back of the ship. We have used the one on that is one deck up from us and just down the hall. It's not hard to get to and has four sets of washer/dryers. The one on our deck only has two sets.

I went back to move to the dryers and saw Georgia and Bob and chatted with them till it was time to get the clothes out of the dryers. Jerry brought our laundry bags up. We came back to our cabin, put our clothes away and headed out to get some lunch.

Now here I sit on our wonderful balcony in the shade and it's a perfect day! The temperature right now here on the deck is 77 degrees. This is the life!!!
