I took a couple of days and traveled down to Fredericksburg Texas in the Hill Country of Texas. It is a beautiful part of the state. I took the back roads, scenic route down and had reservations in town for a cottage. It was cute and perfect for what I needed. I spent the afternoon walking Main Street and checking out the shops and all. They have a lot of wineries in the Hill Country of Texas so I was eager to check them out.
On Sunday I got up and headed back home with a stop along the way at the Wildseed Farm just outside of Austin. I took my time and wandered through the butterfly exhibit and then headed home. I love this part of Texas.
