Train Ride
They anchored the ship in Gatun Lake and
those passengers who had booked excursions were let off the ship and tendered
ashore.
Jerry and I boarded a bus that took us to the train station, once on the train we rode in the domed car and had a nice view of the countryside, be it rainy, but we expected as much since we were traveling through the rain forest and this is their rainy season.
The train took us to the Pacific side of Panama where we got off to board another bus that took us to the Miraflores Locks, some Panama City sites and the Bridge of the Americas.
