Panama Canal Cruise on Princess Cruise Lines Coral Princess

Jerry and I took a cruise on the Coral Princess the Saturday after Thanksgiving 2003. We flew to Ft Lauderdale on Friday, spent the day, visited with my cousin, Jackie and then on Saturday we embarked the Coral Princess.

Our ports were Ocho Rios, Jamaica - Panama Canal - Limon, Costa Rica - Grand Cayman Islands - Cozumel, Mexico. We went to Grand Cayman but were unable to disembark the ship. They couldn't put in the tenders to tender us to shore because of the tropical storm in the area, the seas were pretty rough. In Costa Rica we did a river rafting excursion and totally enjoyed it.

Jerry had been in contact on the Cruise Critic board with others who would be on the cruise at the same time so we had a get together as the ship sailed, we met at the splash pool on the Sports deck. We ran into most of the couples during the remainder of our trip.
