Jerry and I awoke this morning to find we were in port at St Maarten. We ported on the Dutch side of the island.

We disembarked and took a taxi to the French side of the island, St Martin and to the beach we went. We didn't choose an excursion for this port as we wanted to visit the beach.

Jerry had read about Orient Beach, so we decided to go there. There is a hotel on the beach. This beach is clothes optional. We found a conch shell while in the water. We were thrilled as we hadn't found anything like that before. (We attempted to "air" it out on our balcony as it was pretty smelly.)

We went back to the pier and found a shopping area for our souvenirs and found a Cyber Cafe also. We checked email and then headed back to the ship.

This was our second formal night and Lobster night inthe dining room. The lobster was wonderful. We were so pleased with our choices for dinner since we hadn't had much luck with the seafood.

After dinner we went to the show and saw the comedian. He was pretty good.
