San Juan

Jerry and I flew to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Our flight from DFW was delayed because the plane had lost a generator so we had to taxi back to the gate. Once the plane was fixed we were on our way. The pilot made some good time. We took a taxi to our hotel, the Caribe Hilton which was not far away from the airport.

We checked in and then took a taxi to Old San Juan where we ate at the Parrot Club. We had eaten here the last time we came to San Juan. We walked the streets a bit before catching a taxi back to the hotel and then we sat in the hotel bar. We enjoyed the music and celebration of St Patrick's Day in San Juan.

On Saturday morning we got up and wandered the streets nearby and found some food at one of the local establishments before going back to the hotel and getting packed up and ready to go to the pier.
