New Orleans

New Orleans
Jazz

We planned this trip so we would be in New Orleans for St Patrick's Day and St Joseph's Day. We stayed at the Landmark Hotel on Rampart Street, across the street from Louis Armstrong Park and three blocks from Bourbon Street.

One of our favorite things to do in New Orleans is to ride a riverboat so we chose the Natchez this trip. We saw Carnival's Sensation in port as we took our cruise up the river. Sensation is the ship we were married on in 1997.

We rode the St Charles Street Trolley and then attended the St Patrick's Day parade on Bourbon Street. The next evening we attended the St Joseph's Day parade on Bourbon Street also.
