Cruise # 2 Carnival's Destiny |
Jerry had us booked on our second cruise before we had taken our first cruise. He was pretty sure we were going to enjoy cruising and he was right. He booked us on Carnival's ship Destiny which most of the outside cabins have a balcony. We were spoiled real quick with this decision!
We were due to fly out of Dallas/Ft Worth on Saturday morning but let AA buy us off the flight for a $500 voucher. I told Jerry I was sure I saw Hawaii in my future....
We took the next flight to Miami and went on to the hotel where we were spending the night before we would board the following day. We met up with some friends that Jerry had made via the Internet before we left.
It was exciting to wake up in the morning to see our ship sitting in the port. We couldn't wait to board Destiny and go on our adventure.
This was also our first trip with a digital camera...boy, did we have some fun with that.
