Our Anniversary 2009 |
Jerry made reservations for Friday, January 30th at our favorite bed and breakfast in Denton, the Wildwood Inn. He chose one of the rooms we had not stayed in before. When we got there and checked in then headed down the hall I remembered we stayed the first time just down the hall from where we were staying this time. We had peeked inside because the door to this room was open and we saw rose petals on the bed. They were readying it for a romantic night for someone.
This night it was ours. We had a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and some beautiful flowers were awaiting our arrival. We settled in and enjoyed the afternoon until dinner time. Jerry had made us reservations for 6pm in the dining room.
The chef sent out a plate of cookies and some berries since we turned down the chocolate souffle.
