Kimberly & Blake's Beach Wedding October 2006 |
Kimberly and Blake got engaged in 2005 and planned to have a beach ceremony in Hawaii. Kimberly's mom, Linda did a lot of work in getting the details all worked out on the island of Maui.
Family and friends from Texas and Kentucky flew over to Maui to be a part of this wonderful occasion.
We all met at the condos and caravaned to Kapalua beach at 4:15pm. Jerry, as the father of the bride brought Kimberly along about 15 minutes later. Unfortunately the wedding planner did not make it there till late.
It all worked out well though and it was a beautiful ceremony with a total of 20 people in attendance including the bride and groom.
We all made our way to the beach area and took off our shoes and left them to the side while we awaited the photographer, musician and minister and of course the father of the bride escorting the bride!
What a beautiful bride Kimberly was!!!
After the ceremony a lot of pictures were taken and then we finally made our way over to the Plantation House for dinner. The sun had already set by then so we didn't see what the view was like during the day but at night it was still pretty.
